Introducing Take and Make Crafts!

Since Sunday Crafternoon’s can’t take place in the library right now, we are going to do some take and make crafts instead. These are probably best suited for teens and adults. Simply check the box under ‘Take and Make Craft for Adults’ on the curbside pickup form and you can drop by to pick up a bag with the craft materials ready to go. We will have new craft projects every few weeks for you to enjoy while the library is closed. We also have craft kits available for children each week. You can request them on the curbside form, and you don’t have to be a part of summer reading to take part. We miss seeing you all at the library, and hope you are all having a good summer so far!

Take and Make Craft: Zentangle

The first craft is zentangle! Zentangle is a stress relieving type of drawing where ‘tangles’ or patterns are used to create beautiful images. Below is a video on Zentangle that you can use once for reference you get your bag of supplies.

Email photos of your creations to jrobertson@carbondale.lib.il.us and we will post them on social media!
