NASA@ My Library – We’ve been selected!

Good news everyone! Carbondale Public Library is one of sixty U.S. libraries (and one of only two in Illinois!) selected to be a NASA@ My Library Partner. This means we’re able to bring you several stellar STEM events throughout this next year, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, don’t miss the chance to chat with astrophysicists and planetary scientists during one of the “Looking Deeper into Space with James Webb Space Telescope” interactive livestreams this week. Launching later this year, the Webb Telescope will be the most advanced and complex instrument we’ve ever placed in space!

NASA@ My Library is offered by the National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL) at the Space Science Institute (SSI) in partnership with the ALA Public Programs Office, Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) and Education Development Center (EDC). This material is based upon work supported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration under cooperative agreement No. NNX16AE30A. This work was also assisted and supported by the Space Science Institute, which was the recipient of the cooperative agreement.
