Victims & Survivors Writing Workshop

The Carbondale Public Library is hosting a Victims & Survivors Writing Workshop in honor of the 2024 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. This writing workshop will provide a safe space for victims and survivors to process their trauma through the healing practice of writing and storytelling. Dr. Craig Gingrich-Philbrook will utilize methods of autoethnography and peronal to guide attendees through a transformative approach to writing, so they can empower their voice and all voices of survivors.
Seating is very limited and registration is required.
This project is supported by the City of Carbondale and the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office.
