Equality, Freedom & Justice For All: Recognizing 75 Years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Join the UNA-USA Southern Illinois Chapter for this year’s UN Day. The 2023 theme “Equality, Freedom, and Justice for All” recognizes the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the UN in 1948.
Our special guest speakers are Farah Eck, United Nations Association Senior Director of Programs & Policies; Dr. Paul Frazier, SIUC Vice Chancellor of Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Dr. Ella Lacey, who will speak briefly about World Polio Day. Co-sponsored by the Carbondale Chapter of AAUW, Rotary Club of Carbondale, and SIUC Social Work.
Program may be attended in person at the Carbondale Public Library or virtually on Zoom. Registration is not needed to attend in person.
