Ralph McCoy, Morris Library, and the Freedom of the Press Collection

Join the Friends of the Carbondale Public Library for their annual meeting and program, including a talk by Aaron Lisec, Special Collections Researcher at SIU’s Morris Library. Lisec will discuss Ralph McCoy’s collection, which chronicles centuries of censorship in the English-speaking world. The library’s Special Collections Research Center houses rare manuscripts, letters, and banned books, offering essential insights into the history of the First Amendment.
