Shawnee Doulas are here to help you create a birth plan! Developing a birth plan helps ensure you know your choices about your delivery experience and your voice is heard by your medical team. Throughout the course of the workshops various topics will be covered including methods of delivery, laboring positions, pain management strategies and comfort measures, knowing when to go to the hospital, choosing a provider for your newborn, and what to do after delivery. Anyone looking to learn more about the process of giving birth are welcome!
