We encourage you to showcase your active participation in library or community programs, including the Carbondale Public Library, CCHS Media Center, or similar organizations. Introducing the Year Round Reading Challenge for High Schoolers! Our challenge is simple yet rewarding – read 100 books before graduation and log them on Beanstack, our online reading platform.

Project Next Generation (PNG) is a free afternoon STEM/STEAM program for 5th-12th graders. Participants explore art, science, and technology through a variety of entertaining and engaging activities. Registration is required for this very popular program.
