TEEN ANIME CLUB Wednesday 11/1, Tuesday 11/28, 4-5 PM
You asked and we listened! We’ve got 2 dates on the calendar  for Anime Club this month. We’ll  watch anime on our Crunchyroll account,  play an anime themed game, and eat Japanese snacks.

TEEN WRITING WORKSHOP Thursdays through 11/16, 4-5:30 PM
eather Weatherwax from the Saluki Writer’s Project leads the popular creative writing workshop for students currently in grades 9-12. Participants will learn how to properly critique writing and provide constructive criticism for fellow writers. All genres and levels of teen writers welcome.  Drop in for any session and bring any writing you’d like to critique.

TEEN MAKER MEETUPS Tuesdays, 11/7 and 11/14, 4-5:30 PM
Are you interested in art? Do you want to give back during the holiday season? Join us for two FREE printmaking workshops at the Carbondale Public Library.  We will be creating  relief prints for donation to the “For Kids’ Sake Art Auction,” which takes place every year at the Longbranch Café in Carbondale.  Make one (or more) print to keep and one to donate. Attend one or both sessions. Different printmaking techniques explored each week.  All materials will be provided.

TEEN GAME ON Tuesday, 11/21, 4-5:30 PM
Join us for some friendly competition and a chance to win a Game Stop gift card in our Super Smash Bros competition. All participants guaranteed to play  at least 2 matches.

Watch anime and make a handmade  anime themed holiday craft.  All supplies provided.


TEEN MAKER MEETUPS Tuesday, December 12th, 4-5 PM
Make hot chocolate spoons that you can give to your friends as gifts.  All supplies provided.


TEEN GAME ON Tuesday, December 19th, 4-5 PM
Enjoy open gaming on the WiiU, iPads and laptops. Feel free to bring your own WiiU games.



General Information about Teen Events at CPL
Teen events are totally FREE, always include snacks, and usually happen in the Library Meeting Room.
Programming is geared for participants ages 12-18.
Registration is not required for teen events unless specifically requested.
