Storywalk® at Oakland Nature Preserve

1201 North Oakland Ave
Carbondale, IL 62901

The Carbondale Public library and Green Earth Nature Preserve have collaborated to create a permanent StoryWalk®! StoryWalks® are book trails where each page of a children’s book is given its own display along a trail so that anyone can stop and read while enjoying the outdoors. This is an innovative and delightful family-friendly activity that encourages reading and exercise – even during a pandemic. The books will be changed every month. This is a free and ongoing event for all ages, so grab your walking shoes and head on out.
